Paddy Poster!!!

today for reading we had to write a poster about a book called paddy and answer some questions about dogs, I worked with jahvarn and Jaxon.

What is an ecosystem?

An ecosystem is a community of living and nonliving things. You will always find consumers,
decomposers and producers in an ecosystem.

This is an example of an ecosystem.

Consumers are animals that need to eat or consume their own food.
Some animals called herbivores get their energy by eating plants.
omnivores get their energy by eating plants and animals humans are the most obvious example of omnivores.
Carnivores get their energy by eating other animals.

Decomposers are generally bacteria and fungi.they consume dead animals and break them down into nutrients.
The nutrients are then released back into the soil.
Those nutrients are used by producers like plants to help them grow. Then the cycle begins all again.

Producers produce or make their own food either through sunlight or photosynthesis.
Plants are the most obvious example of producers.
Without producers, no animals would be able to survive.
